Deep Red - Profondo Rosso
The super-cult Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin at Studiocompresso in 2014 recording “Deep Red” soundtrack for the upcoming 40th anniversary of the original version. It was a scary day…
When rock meets opera! Here is a rare video of the South Korean lyric coloratura soprano Grammy award-winning in the studio, performing this classic song in a very cool and unusual project with the Italian Federico Paciotti.
When the Neve VR arrived...
Year 2008, an 800Kg spaceship arrived from the sky. Seven days to unmount it and mount it again inside the studio. No doors were big enough (unfortunately). Was it worth it? We would do it 100 more times!
The Family Guy
What a difficult but fun experience was to adapt in Italian this censored song for probably the most popular animated serie of all times! It never aired. Just DVDs. Too many bad words!
Time hails it as “The best animated series of its generation”, while IndieWire calls it “One of the best animated series ever made”. Here we have one of the songs adapted and produced by Studiocompresso for the Italian version.
Matilda De Angelis
As good as beautiful. The Italian singer and actress Matilda De Angelis at her debut. Just enjoy this rare “behind the scenes” during the video-making of a song for the movie “Veloce come il Vento”.
Italo & The Ronny Boy Band
In the far 2005, the popular Italian showman Renzo Arbore chose this funny song produced by Studiocompresso and written by “Italo & The Ronny Boy Band” to be inserted into his record.

Born in 1978. Francesco began to study classical piano at the age of 5 but found solfeggio very boring, so he stopped practicing at 12.
He later tried electronic music and composed numerous pieces, but this did not lead him anywhere, either. Around the same time, he took classes on harmony and composition, and experimented with different passions such as videography, photography, crafting, and cooking. Regrettably, he gets hooked with everything that passes before his eyes…including women.
In 2001 he spent a few months in the historic recording studio “Quattro 1” in Rome, where he fell in love with the NEVE VR – the mythical analogue bench, and by 2008, he brought it home. Simultaneously, he began to dub cartoons songs.
His career as a professional composer started and ended in 2005, when he created the music for a Fandango Film documentary and was mistaken for a well-known Italian actor; on the DVD, instead of his name, they wrote “Music by Antonio Albanese.” Bewildered, he moved temporarily to London and learned what it means to work seriously.
To date, he writes songs for Disney, Netflix, Fox, Mediaset, Rai, BBC and many others, and he also runs a guest house in Zanzibar, where he travels whenever he has the chance in order to remember what it means to be alive.
- 18 years experience in music production
- Composer since 2005
- Singer for cartoons since 2008.

“Life is fighting for what you love, it’s patience, it’s taking care of every single moment of your time. Life is closing and reopening your eyes as if each time it were a new beginning. There are many paths to take and many crossroads that require you to make choices, but there are no limits if the soil of your existence is made of Music.”
